Intermountain CFC Volunteer Opportunities

Intermountain CFC is looking for dedicated and motivated federal employees or retirees who would like to have fun and serve their community by volunteering for one of the many ongoing volunteer openings.

Time requirement

Promotions Committee  

Helps select campaign theme, design promotional materials (donor brochure, training materials, fliers, posters), assist with campaign video, decide which awards/incentives to implement and brainstorm other ideas to promote the campaign. May also help to identify and provide contacts for potential campaign sponsors. This committee also oversees the "Awards Celebration" usually held in late January or early February.

Volunteers need not be in the Ogden-Salt Lake area to serve. We can conference you in to meetings!


From March-September, about 2-4 hrs/month including attendance at monthly meetings from March-June, and bi-weekly from June-Sept.

Kickoff Committee

Helps with all aspects of regional campaign kickoff events, from publicity to execution of the details.


1-2 hrs/week and attendance at bi-weekly meetings from June-Sept.


Eligibility Committee

Volunteers from Ogden/Salt Lake area needed to officially review them when the Eligibility Committee meets. We usually have from 150-200 local applications to review.


4-5 hours on the day the committee officially meets to review final applications -- usually late March or early April.

Special Events Committee

Helps to manage one of the Intermountain CFC special events held in the fall. Orders tickets, receives  & processes registration/order forms, implements creative ways to make the event more fun for federal employees. Events include:
-CFC Golf Tournament
-Salt Lake Bees game
-Ogden Raptors game
-Utah Grizzlies game

-Service Project(s)

The Promotions Committee may decide to implement other Special Events.


2-3 hrs/week from June-Sept. Meetings TBD.

Regional Special Events coordinators

Intermountain CFC is looking for several volunteers who would like to spearhead CFC special events in their area: Colorado (Grand Junction), Wyoming (Casper), Idaho (I.F. or Pocatello) and southern Utah (Cedar City/St. George)
