Public Speaker

Speak at CFC events and federal agency rallies

Each year, the Intermountain CFC holds several special events where we invite guest speakers from local charitable organizations. In addition, many federal agencies hold their own CFC kickoff rallies, where you may also have the opportunity of speaking. The more you can promote your cause to the federal community, the more successful your CFC campaign will be.

If you are interested in speaking at a CFC function, you must first complete our 2010 Speakers Bureau training before being added to the speakers list. Please see the "Key Dates" page for Speakers Bureau training times.

In becoming a CFC speaker, you agree to the following guidelines:

  • To speak for no more than 10 minutes unless specifically requested

  • To promote giving and philanthropy in general – not just your organization (a brief explanation of who you are and what you do, and using examples and stories from your organization’s experience is appropriate)

  • To be punctual, and respectful of the wishes of the federal agency or committee

Good luck!
